about the founder

Ms. Rhonda Roberts is the Founder of Alopecia Awareness & Wellness

Rhonda Roberts currently resides in Longview, Texas. She first noticed patterns of Alopecia on her scalp over 5 years ago, and has been passionate about finding a solution for this growing epidemic. She experienced first hand the pain, insecurities, and shame with this disease. At times she even felt less than a woman, but refused to allow it to conquer her life. She later noticed that her family and friends had experienced the same thing, and she wanted to provide a solution. This is when she decided to take actions into her own hands, and form Alopecia Awareness & Wellness as a non-profit organization to help others who have or will experience the same obstacles she had.

Alopecia and Cancer Awareness is becoming a huge epidemic in our community and is undereducated and underserved for the men and women who suffer with the embarrassment from the medical illness.
